Better Half Coffee & Cocktails and Hold Out Brewing Property Map

One of my favorite local all-day restaurants and neighbor brewery asked me to create a property map for them I was thrilled to tackle the project. Property maps are always a mix of directions and storytelling to make sure the essence of the space comes to life while guiding customers. With multiple businesses on one property and many different ordering locations, Better Half and Hold Out needed a key system and way to show their customers where to park. To solve this problem, I created a legend and symbols to clarify forms of service offered at each location and outlined the parking areas to add clarity.

I love working with clients that want their personalities to be reflected in the final artwork. Better Half and Hold Out are neighborhood establishments that have kept old West Austin building structures and native trees on their welcoming patio focused properties. I worked alongside the GM to bring humor and character into the map by including illustrations of the ancient oak on their patio and all the wild animals that are their local residents.
